The “Green Pass” arrives. “Italy is ready to welcome the world back”.
Yes! So said Prime Italian Minister Mario Draghi, during the press conference held at the end of the G20 tourism ministers meeting, chaired by Italy.
The italian government has decided to reopen its doors to foreign tourists. From 15 May the mini quarantine for people from European countries will be overcome.
Draghi he guaranteed the introduction of a green pass to move freely in Italy starting from 15 May, pending the European pass which will be active from mid-June. “The world wants to travel to Italy and Italy is ready to welcome the world back”
He said that starting from the second half of June the so-called “Green pass” will be ready to travel between the countries of the European Union, on which the European authorities have been working for a few months, but that in the meantime Italy will introduce the own national “pass” one month earlier.
At the moment it can be used as a “pass” to travel:
1) a certification of the completion of the vaccination cycle in the six months prior to travel from a health facility, or
2) a certification of recovery from the coronavirus in the previous six months, or
3) the negative result of a molecular or antigen test, in this case valid for 48 hours execution.
